Hi there, I’m Danielle. I’m the creator of the S.H.I.F.T. for Life program and will be your dedicated coach for all 30-days of this program.

I hardly recognize myself as the gal on the left. Left-side Danielle was inflamed, stressed out, had started developing food allergies and sensitivities to almost everything she ate, and had intense stomach pain after almost every meal.
Back in 2012, ignoring all of the signs above that something might be going on with my health, my body finally said “Enough!”
I began inflating like a balloon, gaining 20 pounds in 30 days, as if I was attached to an air machine.
At just 35 years old, I was now at my highest weight ever, but worse than that, I no longer recognized my own face and body when I looked in a mirror, and my health was starting to dramatically deteriorate.

Your coach, Danielle (pictured), is a Certified Nutritionist, Board-Certified Health & Wellness Coach, Lifestyle Medicine Specialist, and a 2020 graduate of Cornell University's Plant-Based Nutrition Program. I am grateful that this program works! For the first time in years, I have hope of feeling great. 1. You’re working with certified health & wellness professionals who really know their stuff. These days, anyone can call themselves a “coach” – while the laws vary from state to state, really anyone can put “Health Coach” after their name without the rigorous education to support such a title. At One Degree Health, we pride ourselves on the level of education and certifications our nutritionists, lifestyle medicine specialists, and wellness coaches maintain.
2. You’re working with a real person, not an app or online-only course. For the next 30-days, you’re assigned a dedicated nutritionist and health and wellness coach who will get to know you and your world as you work through the 30 days of this program. Your coach will be supporting you throughout the program, helping you adjust the principles to your particular needs. You won’t get this level of personalization from an app or an online-only course.
3. This program isn’t a fad or a quick fix that won’t work or that you’ll fail at. Rather, the S.H.I.F.T. for Life program is all about sustainability and creating healthy habits for life. The principles you’re taught are evidence-based and scientifically-proven, based on a combination of the Anti-inflammatory Mediterranean diet and the Whole Food Plant-Based diet style of eating, and will help you be healthy for life.

Danielle is a Certified Holistic Nutritionist (CHN), Nationally Board-Certified Health and Wellness Coach (NBC-HWC), Lifestyle Medicine Specialist (LMC) through the American College of Lifestyle Medicine (ACLM). She is currently enrolled in Cornell University’s Plant-Based Nutrition Program and will be graduating in early 2020.
Danielle is one of the first thousand in the world to earn the exclusive certification of National Board-Certified Health and Wellness Coach (NBC-HWC). It’s granted by the National Board of Medical Examiners (NBME) in collaboration with the International Consortium for Health and Wellness Coaching (ICHWC), and is the only wellness coaching board-certification currently recognized by healthcare and insurance. During her training, she studied over 200 dietary theories, practical lifestyle management techniques, and innovative coaching methods with some of the world’s top health and wellness experts. Her teachers included Dr. Andrew Weil, Director of the Arizona Center for Integrative Medicine; Dr. Deepak Chopra, leader in the field of mind-body medicine; Dr. David Katz, Director of Yale University’s Prevention Research Center; Dr. Walter Willett, Chair of Nutrition at Harvard University; Geneen Roth, bestselling author and expert on emotional eating; and many other leading researchers and nutrition authorities.

No. It’s a common misconception that the term “whole food plant-based diet” means “vegan” or “vegetarian”. This is not correct. As you’ll learn in the S.H.I.F.T. for Life program, a whole food plant-based diet is all about eating whole, minimally processed, quality foods. Meat in moderation is allowed on a whole food plant-based diet.

1. Most of the 30-day programs we’ve seen on the market give you a program guide or a few videos to learn what to do. With the S.H.I.F.T. for Life program, you’re working with a real person, not an ebook, app, or online-only course. Your investment includes 30-days of unlimited access to your dedicated health coach. Our private coaching clients pay over $500/month for this access alone.
In addition, part of your investment in this program is to speak directly to a nutritionist & wellness coach at the beginning of your program to map out your specific wellness goals, how to fit this program to your world, and more. Currently these 50-min health & nutrition sessions are $200/hr. Other programs on the market don’t give you this level of personalization and customization.
2. Most of the other programs on the market are all about selling you products and supplements, and teaching you how to be their product customer for life. Their programs may be cheaper initially, because they make their money through your additional product purchases.
